



Otherwise, yeah, I figure you could fire Reynauld as soon as other front-liner heroes show up on the stage coach and never bother with another Crusader, and you wouldn't be missing that much. I think in all the time I've played the game, I've only used Holy Lance once, so I wouldn't know about that. If there's anything genuinely special about the Crusader, though, I'd imagine it has to do with tricks involving Holy Lance or something. I think the Paralyzer's Crest is one of the better trinkets, as well, not that that's saying much. His camping abilities are the best for dealing with stress, including on himself, and he can prevent ambushes. He can't guard other heroes or riposte like the Man-at-Arms can, and he can't change monsters' positions like the Man-at-Arms or Leper, but he can hit both monsters in the front row at once and heal damage and/or stress both on himself and other heroes, unlike the Man-at-Arms, and he can stun enemies, unlike the Leper. The Crusader's alright, he's just relatively boring.
